A
little about me, my experience and background:
A few years ago, I started to be
interested in outdoor wood burning furnaces as my own heating bills
continued to rise, and a friend decided to try to build his own
stove. The process began with a lot of research as well
as a lot of trial and error, until we had the finished product.
The amount of money we spent on materials, tool expenses and our
time were more than what a new unit sells for today. My
father, a friend and I decided to purchase Shaver Outdoor Wood
Furnaces instead of the money and time to make one ourselves, and
still not be as efficient as the Shaver units.
Upon a lot of research and experimenting with the Shaver units, we
came to the conclusion that we had found the most efficient outdoor
wood furnace on the market. We even fabricated a few
accessories (with the permission and approval of Shaver) to even
greater enhance the energy efficiency of the stock Shaver Outdoor
Wood Furnace.
In December of 2008, I added the Acme
Furnace product line, as we feel that the customer needs a few more
choices for their heating solution needs. The Acme Furnaces
are built by the Mennonites with extreme attention to detail and
quality.
Along with the sales of outdoor wood furnace, I also have an excavating
business in the Bi-state St. Louis area. I install
septic and aeration systems, dig basements, install water lines,
sewer lines and mains, land clearing, demolition and any type of
work that is to be done with heavy equipment. Equipment
includes: excavator, backhoe loader, rubber track compact loader,
dozer, mini-excavator, trencher and a wide array of small specialty
tooling required to complete some of the most extensive or small
projects.

Testimonial
Steve had equipment at my house within 6
hours of calling him to help tear it down so I could build a new one.
He had the entire site loaded and cleaned up in just 3 days, and
immediately got started on digging the basement and footings.
